Student Advisors work with people who are looking at study options at the University of Waikato. Students may be looking at studying in Tauranga or at our Hamilton Campus.

Students come to the University directly from secondary school or via pathways which may include work, previous study or life experiences.

Andy is based at the Windermere Campus in Tauranga to ensure that the University of Waikato is more accessible to students in the Bay of Plenty and wider regions. He is the first point of contact for local students for course information and advice.

The future student advisor also visits secondary schools and attends career expos and events around the country.

Anne-Marie is based at Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology's (formerly Waiariki Bay of Plenty Polytechnic) Business School, the Bongard Centre, located in the heart of Tauranga City. Anne-Marie assists Management, Law and Computer Science students with course planning, administrative queries, and advises students who wish to transition from Toi Ohomai qualifications to University of Waikato qualifications.

She also provides administrative support for University Tutors based at the Bongard Centre and liaison support between Faculties of the University and the Toi Ohomai for Bongard related issues.
