How do foreign exchange dealers handle the volatile kiwi dollar? Why do share values go up and down? If you study Finance you'll understand money, banking, investments and credit. Bankers, financial planners, corporate treasury departments, share-brokers and the Reserve Bank are some of the players in the finance industry.

How to study Finance in Tauranga

In Tauranga, you start by enrolling in an NZ Diploma of Business (NZDipBus) with Bay of Plenty Polytechnic. Papers equivalent to University 100 and 200 level papers in Finance are included within the NZDipBus. Once you complete the NZDipBus (with a B average), you can apply to enrol in the University's 300 and 400 level Finance papers offered in Tauranga.

Finance can also be taken as a second major or supporting subject within most degrees.

Papers

200 Level and Beyond
