The BTour(THMgt) has been developed with input from tourism and hospitality businesses, and senior members of the sectors continue to guide its development. Our faculty, your lecturers, consult widely on industry issues and they bring that hands-on experience of new trends, challenges and industry reponses to their teaching.
Start your BTour(THMgt) in Tauranga by first enrolling in the NZ Diploma in Business (NZDipBus) at Bay of Plenty Polytechnic. If you complete the NZDipBus with at least a B grade everage you will be guaranteed admission to the BTour with credit of up to ten papers towards the degree.
Complete the degree in Tauranga by studying University of Waikato papers at the Bongard Centre.
Bay of Plenty Polytechnic staff will provide information and advice on the NZDipBus including the papers you should take.
Once you have commenced your NZDipBus, we recommend you discuss your intended degree programme with University staff. We will help you to plan your programme of study and advise you on degree, subject and paper choice.
