Student Advisors work with people who are looking at study options at the University of Waikato. Students may be looking at studying in Tauranga or at our Hamilton Campus.
Students come to the University directly from secondary school or via pathways which may include work, previous study or life experiences.

Tammy-Lee is based at the Windermere Campus in Tauranga to ensure that the University of Waikato is more accessible to students in the Bay of Plenty and wider regions. She is the first point of contact for local students for course information and advice.
Having attained a Bachelor of Communication Studies (BCS) from Waikato, Tammy-Lee understands the importance of a tertiary education and achieving your career aspirations. She has worked in marketing and management roles, as well as the careers and disability sector.
The student Recruitment advisor also visits secondary schools and attends career expos and events around the country.

Anne-Marie is based at the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic's Business School, the Bongard Centre, located in the heart of Tauranga City. Anne-Marie assists University Management, Law and Computer Science students who study at the Bongard Centre.
She assists returning Waikato students with course planning, issues resolution and administrative queries, and students who wish to transition from Bay of Plenty Polytechnic qualifications to University of Waikato qualifications.
She also provides administrative support for University Tutors based at the Bongard Centre and liaison support between Faculties of the University and the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic for Bongard related issues.
