Student Recruitment Adviser
The student recruitment adviser works with people who are looking at study options at the University of Waikato.
Students may be looking at studying at our Tauranga or Hamilton Campus. Students come to the University directly
from secondary school or via pathways which may include work, previous study or life experiences.
If you are interested in study at the University of Waikato, the recruitment adviser can talk with you about any of the following:
- University Entrance requirements
- Subjects and degrees offered at the University
- Pathways to university study
- Scholarship Support Services
- Campus life
- Halls of Residence

The student recruitment adviser also visits secondary schools and attends career expos and events around the country.

Tammy-Lee Millard
Student Recruitment Adviser
Tammy-Lee is based at the Tauranga Campus to ensure that The University of Waikato is more accessible to students
in the Bay of Plenty and wider regions. She is the first point of contact for local students for course information
and advice. Having attained a Bachelor of Communication Studies (BCS) from Waikato, Tammy-Lee understands the
importance of a tertiary education and achieving your career aspirations. She has worked in marketing and management
