Admission

Admission to Waikato University degree-level study requires you to have an entrance qualification. Some qualifications have additional criteria and these are detailed in the University‘s Calendar at calendar.waikato.ac.nz

Students who successfully complete a programme from Bay of Plenty Polytechnic which is recognised under the partnership arrangements (such as the NZDipBus, DipMarineSt or DipSport and Recreation ) will be admitted under "University Entrance" or "Admission at Entrance Level or with Credit from Previous Study".

Admission to Bay of Plenty Polytechnic qualifications varies, depending on the level and subject content of the programme. The Bay of Plenty Polytechnic should be contacted for more information about admission to their qualifications.
